GenaTheBondKilIer Oct 14

Why are Spaniards so stupid and lazy? it says so in the clarification

TiresiasProject Oct 12

GenaTheBondKilIer Oct 11

Is a grey zone Id say, like saying "Ill leave when Im legally required to, and everything points that will be in X date after a PP and VOX agreement" not sure if it should count

Por tanto "ceases to be Prime Minister"?

Only if he announces he leaves his position before January 1. If not he will be Prime Minister "en funciones" until then.

knrad Oct 8

yes, not too crazy but structurally difficult imo

Onswaggie Oct 8

PEDRO SANCHEZ! HIJO DE P**A!

edgehunter32 Oct 8

"An announcement of Pedro Sánchez's resignation/removal before this market's end date will immediately resolve this market to "Yes", regardless of when the announced resignation/removal goes into effect. " so if he loses and announces that he will leave that's enough to win

The newly elected chambers will gather on 23D. 5 days max to form the legislative groups, 1 day for the king summoning them and proposing a candidate, and the voting may take place. 30 and 31 are both working days. If both parties reach an agreement in 4 weeks, it's done.

McBet Oct 6

"ad interim" is just the cause he is PM during that period. The constitution does not allow for a power gap between two elected PMs, there is a PM 100% of the time. Even if a PM dies, the first invested Deputy Prime Minister (Vicepresidente) becomes the new PM immediately, then the second and so on. If the DPM dies, normal ministers become PM. If all the ministers die, the president of the congress becomes PM, if the president of the congress dies, the king becomes PM, if the king dies, royal succession rules are used to determine the new king and the new king becomes PM.

GenaTheBondKilIer Oct 5

Christmas holydays plus Vox and PP need to reach an agreement

Milin-dc Oct 5

If you take the words literally, it is the president, according to the Constitution, even though the role is equivalent to prime minister.

Milin-dc Oct 5

President

gamblingaddicts7 Oct 5

alfredon996 Oct 5

Debería, pero Polymarket es impredecible.

alfredon996 Oct 5

They say that after the elections he is no longer the PM and only remains "ad interim". I don't know what the implications are.

In 2011, we had the general election on 20 N, and Rajoy was elected prime minister on 20 D.. So the timeline is very tight, but I’d still say it’s pretty plausible, like 60–70% (PP+Vox majority sits at +90%). I don’t get why is currently valued <30%.

plumbis Oct 5

What is he then if not PM

jepper Oct 5

He is..

Milin-dc Oct 5

Well, if we take market rules literally (which weren't written by a spanish), this market shouldn't exist. Pedro Sánchez is not Prime Minister.

Milin-dc Oct 5

Milin-dc Oct 5

me too

Welostbetting Oct 5

dont know what these spanish people are writing but prob want free money that they will not get. You have to understand market rules and have a normal comprehension

Trading4Fridge Oct 5

It's 5 PM and I haven't even had lunch

Dleurogo Oct 5

gamblingaddicts7 Oct 5

"1. **Election:** July 23. 2. On **July 24**, the Spanish Official State Gazette (BOE) published a Royal Decree stating: **“Pedro Sánchez Pérez-Castejón is hereby declared to have ceased as President of the Government”**, adding that he **“shall remain in office in a caretaker capacity until the new President of the Government takes office.”** 3. Sánchez remained in office in a caretaker capacity throughout the entire process. 4. He was finally **invested by Parliament on November 16**, and was appointed President of the Government again that same day."

GenaTheBondKilIer Oct 5

The BOE signed by the fucking President, ok

gamblingaddicts7 Oct 5
