The democrat party is extremely desperate to win back the elements of the jewish lobby that joined the GOP after Oct 7. They have been getting absolutely murdered in funding ever since. They want moderate to reassure the donors, and a Jewish moderate is even better

Josh Shapiro easy choice: 1) Jewish 2) Wins at Pennsylvania which is a key state for presidency 3) Raised in a US Navy base 4) Old enough not to be inexperienced but also young enough not to be a dinosaur 5) Ex Attorney General of Pennsylvania... 6) Was attacked for being jewish--> In April 2025, Shapiro and his family survived an arson attack at the governor's mansion, hours after holding a Passover Seder. Very easy choice, trading super low for the potential it has.

History shows that after a chaotic presidency, a steady leader can be exactly what the country wants. Gerald Ford followed Nixon and Watergate. Calvin Coolidge followed an administration engulfed in scandal. Eisenhower followed years of war and political tension under Truman. None was known for daily drama; each offered a calmer style. “Boring” can be a political strength when voters are exhausted. Calm, competent and predictable can sound pretty good after chaos.

It won't even matter if they have to give a senate seat to run him because the Dems will have like 55 secure seats at that point from Trump's incompetence and unpopularity.

The polls are meaningless right now and she's only leading in them because of inertia.

She had her shot. Very unlikely she gets another. "the dems field is terrible" well you're entitled to your opinion, but I don't think the democractic voters think so. Frankly, I suspect a lot of people will be hesitant to nominate a woman again in this cycle, fair or not.

I remember vividly in 21 trump odds of winning the 2024 nominee were trading below 2c. The odds off the presidency much lower Everyone thought he was done after January 6th, impossible they said . The market had fatigue and bet on desantis and Hayley. He led all the polls, market didn’t care. Then he announced, yet price barely reacted , then he beat all the cases, and they finally fell in line. Then he won it all I feel similar fatigue is present with Kamala, the market desperately want someone new but the gods won’t give it. History often doesn’t repeat but it usually rhymes

Taking a position on Kamala harris ~ 8c, got limits through 7 and will add as we get closer to 2028. Thesis: Kamala is leading on virtually every 2028 poll, market consensus is that her lead will narrow as we get closer and other nominess get exposure, but I don't think thats the case. Firstly, the dems field is terrible, the nomination is there for the taking but nobody stands out. Newsom is uninspiring, AOC is a liability, Ossoff is closest but he’s not bridging the gap enough to the left as I’d like. Secondly, Kamala has the credibility, donor machine, and is most prepared for a presidential campaign. The biggest elephant in the room is that she lost 2024 and nobody will trust her again, but she was up against the greatest political machine of our generation - MAGA. Trump will not be running in 28, the likely opp is Vance or Rubio and neither have the strength or credibility that trump did last election

Keep an eye on Jon Ossoff after November. • $42M Senate war chest — federal money that can potentially move into a presidential campaign after Georgia. • ~90% of his current ad budget reportedly running outside Georgia. • Spending only $5–6M/month while reportedly bringing in more than he’s spending. • Gavin Newsom can’t simply transfer his California state campaign war chest into a federal presidential campaign. • Mark Kelly sits behind Ossoff at roughly $26M in federal cash. And here’s the interesting part: 📊 Ossoff’s presidential odds relative to his Democratic-nomination odds imply roughly a 70% chance of winning the presidency IF he becomes the nominee — stronger than the comparable implied number for the other candidates. $42M. National advertising. Positive cash flow. Maybe it’s all about Georgia. Maybe.

This is my call—not Moore for president. I accumulated 300,000 Wes Moore contracts at 1.5¢, a price nobody can get anymore. My thesis is simple: I think Moore gets a major South Carolina bump, particularly with Black Democratic voters, and that puts him firmly into the national conversation. I ultimately see Jon Ossoff winning the nomination and choosing Wes Moore as his VP. To me, Ossoff–Moore would be an incredibly strong general-election ticket—geographically, generationally, and demographically. If those two end up on the same ticket, I think it’s lights out. My call: Ossoff–Moore wins the Electoral College by 80+ votes.

Your logic isn’t working in Michigan, and the Democratic establishment knows the danger: if 2028 becomes Newsom vs. AOC, AOC can eat him alive from the left. California is becoming political baggage for Newsom, not an asset. I was just there last week—the homelessness, open drug use and visible disorder are impossible to ignore. That’s why Ossoff makes so much strategic sense. Democrats need someone who can compete in the South, appeal to men and moderates, energize the base, and still run credibly in the Rust Belt. If Ossoff wins Georgia convincingly in 2026, he can point to something neither Newsom nor AOC can: proof that he can win a critical presidential battleground. And the DNC’s new calendar only strengthens that argument: South Carolina goes first, with Michigan also in the early window. The establishment doesn’t necessarily have to want Ossoff today. But if their objective is winning in 2028 and building a coalition that can hold through 2032, they may ultimately conclude he’s their best bridge between the progressive base and the voters Democrats have been losing. AOC can win the activist primary. Newsom can win the donor primary. Ossoff may be the one who can win the Electoral College.

SUPERNOVA- Aug 20
AOC is unelectable and Ossoff will not vacate his senate seat - nobody wants Kamala and the rest are worthless - that leaves only one real contender who can battle the GOP and has the donor money / institutional backing to actually win the presidency

ISMS2222 Aug 20
My hunch is that the recent AOC momentum may be overstated, while sophisticated money is quietly accumulating Ossoff at lower prices. The bigger strategic question is electability: Democrats may ultimately need a candidate who can recover male voters in the South and Rust Belt. Newsom’s problem is different. In a head-to-head Democratic primary against AOC, he’d be facing a progressive movement with unusually strong grassroots organization and a highly motivated primary electorate. Traditional establishment strength doesn’t necessarily translate into beating that kind of infrastructure.
